NOVA YORK - As bolsas de valores norte-americanas subiram nesta quarta-feira, à medida que números positivos do setor manufatureiro da China, da Europa e dos Estados Unidos reforçaram esperanças de que a economia mundial está a caminho da recuperação.

De acordo com dados preliminares, o índice Dow Jones, referência da bolsa de Nova York, avançou 0,68 por cento, para 8.504 pontos. O termômetro de tecnologia Nasdaq subiu 0,58 por cento, para 1.845 pontos. O índice Standard & Poor's 500 teve valorização de 0,44 por cento, para 923 pontos.
