Atenção que acaba de se saber que a China poderá aumentar em 13% a sua procura de petróleo no quarto trimestre deste ano. Neste momento, o gigante asiático utilizan 8.17 milhões de barris por dia, 460.000 barrils (+5.8%) que em Agosto.Foi também indicado que a China está a procura de novos fornecedores em áfrica para abastecer o mercado. Portanto, se o consumo aumentar no país asiático e nos EUA, as perspectivas de chegar aos 100 dólares por barril no final de 2009 são possíveis.
