Abbas não tentará se reeleger presidente palestino--fontes

RAMALLAH, Cisjordânia -

 O presidente palestino, Mahmoud Abbas, disse nesta quinta-feira que não tentará a reeleição em uma votação marcada para janeiro, informaram autoridades palestinas.

Uma autoridade do comitê executivo da Organização para a Libertação da Palestina (OLP) disse à Reuters: "O presidente insiste que não disputará as próximas eleições".

Outra autoridade da OLP afirmou que Abbas fará um discurso ainda nesta quinta-feira para explicar sua decisão de não tentar a reeleição.
