O banco central da China pediu aos bancos do país que precisavam aumentar o depósito compulsório para implementar a medida nesta terça-feira, disseram fontes bancárias.

Como divulgado na semana passada, o BC pediu a alguns bancos que aumentassem o depósito compulsório em 0,5 ponto percentual. A medida entra em vigência nesta terça-feira.

Na semana passada, a Reuters divulgou que o Citic Bank, sétimo maior banco do país, e o Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), principal concessor de empréstimos, foram instruídos a elevar o depósito compulsório para conter os empréstimos em excesso.
